June 25th, 2021 | Cisco, Illinois Tornadoes

An outflow boundary cooked in the late-June sun and produced several mini-supercells along the Interstate 72 corridor in central Illinois. I left Urbana late afternoon and intercepted a pair of supercells; the first near Weldon, Illinois where a long-lived funnel cloud/possible tornado was observed, and a second near Cisco, Illinois were multiple brief tornadic circulations occurred with beautiful supercell and RFD structure on display.
